A marriage biodata is a short introduction for a prospective partner and their family. Start with clear personal, education, work and family details, then add only what you are comfortable sharing.

Begin with your name, age or date of birth, current city, education and occupation. You can add a recent photograph and height if you want. Use short labels and consistent spelling so someone can find the important details quickly.
Birth time, birthplace, religious details, community and income are optional choices, not requirements for every biodata. Leave out anything you do not want forwarded. Avoid identity numbers, bank details and a full home address.
2. Describe your family and yourself briefly
A short family section can include parents' occupations, siblings and the city where your family lives. Check with family members before including their personal details. Two or three accurate sentences are more useful than a long list of claims.
An about-me section can mention interests, day-to-day life and what you value in a partnership. Write in your own voice. If a parent is preparing the biodata, ask the person it represents to review and approve the final wording.
3. Keep preferences and contact details thoughtful
Describe a few meaningful preferences, such as shared values or plans about location, without writing an exhaustive checklist. A contact can be the individual or a family member who has agreed to receive enquiries; you can also share contact details separately after an introduction.
Aim for a readable page when your information fits comfortably. If it does not, use a second page instead of shrinking the text. Review both the phone-sized preview and the downloaded file before sharing.
4. Choose PDF or PNG for sharing
Choose PDF when you want to keep all pages together in one file or print the A4 document. Choose PNG when you need an image attachment: a one-page biodata downloads as one image, while a longer biodata downloads as a ZIP containing a separate image for each page. Extract the ZIP before sharing its images.
PDF and PNG are finished documents, not editable Word templates. To change a detail, return to your saved draft in the same browser, edit it and download again after unlocking that draft. Keep the text readable at phone size and check every page in the export preview before you send it.

Check before you send your biodata
- Confirm names, qualifications, dates and any contact number with the people concerned.
- Remove optional information you do not want someone else to forward.
- Use a clear, recent photograph only if you want a photo in the document.
- Check the full export preview, including fields marked private and any second page.
- Download and save your file; a browser draft is not a cloud backup.
- Recheck the details before reusing the document later.
